.... The wrong hotel. I booked the wrong fucking hotel. Rodeway inn on Beverly, not Rodeway inn on sunset. Ah well, stayed there the first nights and changed the booking for the rest of the week.
Walked up to sunset from Beverly. Walked past Fairfax High - where AK and flea met, jack and I need to go back and check if Don Platt still sucks anus!
Walked along sunset and had lunch at custom burgers. Picked up a few things from rite way - passed up the chance to buy 2L bottles of jäger for $32!!!
Guitar centre was great, picked up strings. Zara bought new keys and jack got a new distortion pedal.
Melody and I walked back to the hotel, found a dead hummingbird - saw a squirrel too, will be documenting wildlife and meals eaten (meals, not sure how many dead hummingbirds I'm going to gobble over here).
Went for a walk to find beer without and luck, but I did find Canters - chili peppers fans will know this from 'deep kick', the deli that AK and flea used to steal food from.
Had a nap then headed on up to the rainbow bar and grill. Sat at guns n roses table and David Spade was at the table next to us. Had buffalo wings and fries.
Melody and I cabbed home and the other guys kicked on at whiskey and viper room, I'll be seeing you both in a few days!
Earlyish night as tomorrow we drive to Vegas.
