Saw some crazy shit on the drive through the mojave - amazing landscapes, Joshua trees and trailer parks - even a lone hitchhiker in the middle of the desert with a shopping trolley!?!
We stopped to take some band shots in the desert, seconds after the below shots were taken we heard gunshots from over the ridge behind us.
Arrived in Vegas and drove past all the nice places to get to where we were staying on Fremont street in the old town - crime crime crime.
While we don't think we saw any actual crime, we were sure it was taking place right under our noses.
We were pretty much staying in cracktown. Our hostel was nice though and the place had a pool.
We drank massive cans of bud while waiting for our cabs to take us out for the night - jack had surprised us with a limo, our amazing night on Vegas started in some appropriately tacky style, was unreal, thanks man!
Started at Caesars palace - played a batman slot in honor of darkness, and after several moments of flashing lights, Heath ledger taunting me and confusion, I won some money.
I took my new money to the roulette table and won more money! I will be leaving Vegas with more US cash than I entered the country with, cheers Vegas!
We stocked up on drinks and wandered into jimmy buffets casino - was about as much fun as listening to his music - so we walked a few blocks down, contemplated getting tattooed and Vince Neils studio and ended up at the rockhouse. Partied here until sunlight and stumbled home.
More happened this night but it should probably be heard in person xx
